Powerlifting enthusiast, sings badly often, Fridays are for floral shirts.
I am driven by this passion to keep myself learning and creating in such a competitive field, especially in the areas of Graphic Design and Illustration.
I consider Illustration my strength, but I am also extremely comfortable developing dynamic creative processes and solutions in the Adobe Suite, such as designs in Illustrator and InDesign, a film in Premiere Pro, or retouching images in Photoshop.
I believe there are five main things to keep in mind as a creative professional; Personalisation, Foundation, Details, Communication and Response, and the Experience. Every client and brief is different and can require quite different methods of approach, the client’s end goal is key and the journey to it can be flexible.
A strong concept or vision, whether this is generated by myself or based on what a client has provided, is the best foundation for any creative endeavour. Attention to detail, using the tools at your disposal to set the finished product apart, is the essence of creating a quality design or product. To clearly and concisely communicate the client's needs is the ultimate goal of a Graphic Designer. Finally, a positive experience for the client, and their clients is the priority and long-term goal of any completed brief.
